I bought a Harmon PB-105 Pellet Furnace Boiler system. Am heating a 4800 sq.ft. ranch. Thus far I am REALLY pleased with the performance. My propane bill was $7000 last year. Never again, now that I have my pellet furnace. I have read nearly all the posts and am concerned about the quality of pellets. I burned 8 tons of "pro-pellets" which worked well on a feed rate of about 4. Ash wasn't an issue and I routinely clean the firepot each Saturday (minimal klinkers.) I recently bought a little over a ton of "Marth" pellets. They seem to smoke alot whaen getting going but I can't say there has been a difinitive problem. My supplier has said he will have these next year because they burn 50 degrees hotter and require about 30 % less pellets. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Pennington pellets are NOT very good. Way too much ash, not high heat. The daily special at Home Depot. Avoid. The Fireside brand pellets at Home Depot are much better.

Why isn't this comment in all CAPS like the rest of your comments?

The Pennington brand and the Natures Heat brand are both very good products made by very helpful and intelligent people, if you really even had a problem all you had to do was contact them so they could walk you through it, a company that has been around that long does not stay in business if they don't produce a quality product.
