I purchased a ton of pennington pellets from a local store. These pellets were the worst pellets ive ever used in my stove. They took forever to light. the firebox would fill up with smoke and eventually the smoke would leak out of the flue pipe. My burn pot would fill up with ash and turn into a solid brick. My house now has smoke damage on the ceiling thru out the house. Luckily the local store is going to give me my money back on the thirty-eight bags i have left over. I wouldnt use these pellets again if they were the last pellets on earth!!!

Bought Bags at lowes.I have a advanced harmon.First time i bought these pennington pellets.I think they are some awesome pellets.Very Very clean pellets.Burns real hot little to none ash.I can tell what pellets i get.I try alot of pellets to see what is out there.I have to clean my glass window every 4-5 days.Not really with these pellets.Can go 2 weeks with these pellets.Search for review on this product.Thinking that it would be alot of good reviews, just the opposite..,I say try them again..I live in west michigan..thank you

I purchased 1/2 ton of Pennington Nature’s Heat pellets in December 2010 from Sam’s Club and Walmart in the Western NY area for about $4/bag just to give them a try. I’ve had no issues with the Nature’s Heat pellets, they burn hot and clean, minimal ash. The Penningtons burn as well as other brands such as Stove Chow and Hamers. The Pellets are certified as premium grade by the Pellet Fuels Institute which places standards on acceptable levels of salt, ash, and moisture content of wood pellets, same as any of the other premium brands out there.

I agree with you regarding Eureka pellets. Lowes always goes back and forth between brands (I personally like the Pretso and Lignetics (or something like that), but the Eureka pellets don’t burn nearly as hot, leaves heavy ash build up/”clinkers” in the pot.

The pellets you guys are selling are priced to high. You will soon see that people will start using something else. that is what I will be doing.

I bought a pellet stove a few months ago. I was told all about how clean they burn, all the heat they produce. They do burn clean, and they put out alot of heat….as long as you have the right pellet. I bought a ton of Pennington Pellets,,,,BAD CHOICE. lots of ash, dirty glass on the stove, and they burn up very fast.

i bought 10 pallets of the pennington peletts at home depot @ it was the biggest mistake each pallet i have used so far has had 3or4 bags in the middle of the pallet that were no good hard as a rock the amont of heat generated poor extremely high ash content @ lots of kikas this product should be banned

I also bought penningtons from lowes. my first 10 bags on my new stove no less.. If you smell the pellet you’ll find that it smells like cardboard. I don’t think cardboard burns to hot. Maybe it’s me..

I am in rural Nevada. Am looking at buying pellets from Western Family.food store. There is nowhere on the bag that states who the manufacturer is. I have been led to belive it might be Pennington!! Is there anyone out there that knows about this. If it is pennington I will staw away from them!?! appreciate any help on this…
