Hi, I seem to have the opposite problem of most, my Englander woodpellet stove is running so hot I can't run it. I called Englander, they said to make a metal plate and put it over the auger hole in the bottom of the hopper to restrict the flow of pellets. Or duct tape closed the inlet for outside air to restrict airflow. My hubby doesn't want to do either of these, he feels it's rigging it. I feel the pellets are too small, they are premium grade, brand is American Wood Fibers. Does anyone know what is the proper rotation timing for the top auger? Ours turns about 1/2 a centimeter every 10 seconds on low. I cranked it up to see what happens, and it still turns every 10 seconds, but a longer turn, like 2 centimeters. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

First year using Lignetics, they don't light very well as compared to other brands I have used in the past ( green team ). Once they are lit they burn fine. The jury is still out as to weather I will purchase them again .

I have heard a lot of horror stories about Greenway Pellets. Last year, I bought some by accident at a quick sale. Man was I ever surprised. These things burn great. There was ash, yes, but minimal. The heat production was also notable. I'm looking for the best price I can get on them now for this year in the Baltimore area.
As for storage, definetly inside and dry somewhere. I threw 4 bags in the back of a pick up one year for added traction. I forgot about them. Come summer, I went to remove them and the bags had inflated and popped as soon as I toutched them. Nothing left but dust. Amazing.

The house I bought came with a Quadrafire Castile and 1.5 tons of Freedom Fuel in on pallets in the basement. I've finally worked down to the last few bags of clinker-festival and am looking forward to buying a ton of Lignetics from my local supplier!

[I suspect the previous owner got what was cheap, and I fortunately don't have to heat the whole house with this stove, so I just carried on with the stuff]
